About the position
- You will join a young company.
- You will join a senior software engineer and work alongside data science and other software engineers.
- You will be part of a cross-functional product team where you work closely with the product manager to build a product that significantly impacts our customers’ business.
- You will be responsible for building our data pipelines, integrating with third party APIs such as Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, to pull data in a scalable and robust fashion.
- You will lead our migration from Python to Go in critical concurrency and performance areas.
- You will lead architectural decisions and ensure we use the latested technology.
- You will be part of feeding our analytics engine with data using technologies such as Apache Beam, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Temporal, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
- You will build and iterate our data products in close collaboration with the rest of the team to create a technology that enables our customers to benefit from our product.
- You will work with services deployed to and in the Google Cloud Platform.
Requirements
- You are already a skilled developer and might already have experience with Go or have spent time building complicated data pipelines.
- You are somewhat comfortable in the front end and might even have limited experience with ReactJS.
- You are experienced with SQL, and experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is a significant advantage.
- You are pragmatic - understand that great product happens in the cross-section between business, technology, UX, and product.
- You love simple - you make complicated things simple.
- You believe in pragmatic iterations and working with the tools that are possible and make sense.
- You know how to integrate into many different systems and know your way around REST APIs as a constructor and consumer.
- It's a big plus if you have worked with Kubernetes.
