We're seeking a versatile mid-level marketer who excels in content creation, including visual design, digital marketing, and campaign management. In this role, you'll oversee our marketing activities and campaigns, aiming to engage and connect with game developers worldwide. This position calls for a proactive individual with exceptional English proficiency, a portfolio demonstrating their content and design expertise, and proven experience in the tech sector. As a direct report to our VP of Marketing, you'll collaborate frequently with our commercial, product, sales, and customer service teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost awareness, engagement, and user acquisition.
  • Lead the creation of both written and visual content, including blogs, website copy, product announcements, case studies, marketing design assets, and downloadable content like eBooks and whitepapers.
  • Manage social media and other communication channels to inform customers about product releases and updates, and publish engaging content across various platforms.
  • Deploy SEO strategies for organic traffic growth, use SEO tools for performance tracking, and content optimization.
  • Coordinate with PR and content agencies to align on deliverables.
  • Spearhead participation in industry events and company roadshows to promote community engagement and brand awareness.
  • Track spending in line with our marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation across various initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives and paid advertising on platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn.
  • Uphold and enhance the company's brand image across all marketing efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with customers, leads, industry professionals, and journalists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overarching business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to garner strategic insights on industry trends, competitors, and customer behaviors, and apply these insights to marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs, using this data to refine and enhance marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • A background in gaming, advertising, or B2B SaaS, with a deep understanding of product growth and content marketing.
  • Solid design skills and able to create visually striking marketing collateral and design assets (with proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, Figma, etc.).
  • Proficiency in copywriting with a knack for storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in launching and managing community initiatives, such as crafting email newsletters, conducting customer interviews, and organizing event series.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of digital marketing channels, analytics, automation, and website management tools (Wordpress, Hubspot, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Mailchimp, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, including fluency in English and advanced writing proficiency, to articulate complex concepts and strategies effectively.
  • A passion for gaming, with comprehensive knowledge of the mobile games industry.
  • A BA/BS degree in a related field is highly desirable, although not a strict requirement. Most important is a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing budgets, with a clear understanding of key marketing performance metrics.
  • A proven record of successful collaboration across departments, with the ability to align marketing strategies with overarching business objectives.
