The role
We are looking for an IT Security Student Worker currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s IT education degree, to become part of our IT team in Copenhagen, Denmark. Your main responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing security policies and procedures, working closely together with our IT manager, to strengthen our security setup.
Through this role, you will be involved in analysing and mitigating security incidents as they arise, taking appropriate measures to safeguard our systems and data. You will also be involved in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets, ensuring that we maintain a high level of security compliance and preparedness.
We aim to have you present on-site in our office in Frederiksberg, for two days a week on average. That said, we deeply respect your dedication to your studies and we offer flexibility in your working hours to accommodate your academic needs.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments
- Conduct compliance audits, such as NIST amp; CIS18
- Run security awareness and phishing programs
- Collaborate with IT to ensure compliance and best practise is being followed
- Monitore our security dashboards
- Analyse and mitigate security incidents
- Complete various ad-hoc assignments, which may range from analysing and blacklisting domains, to Data Loss Policies, to impersonation incidents
What we’re looking for
- A candidate currently pursuing relevant IT education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in fields such as Computer Science, Software Development or IT Security
- Technically adept individual, unafraid to explore emerging technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft related products
- Ability in managing effectively multiple tasks
- Goal-driven and solution-oriented mindset
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability in stakeholder management and relationship building
- High technical fluency both in English and Danish
