Energy Machines and Teracloud are sister companies. While our core business is not directly linked, we share the same founder, the same office and often the same resources in supporting our development. Together, we are now seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to join our global team.
Energy Machines is an industry leader in the design, implementation, and operation of integrated energy systems for buildings. Buildings are a growing climate issue, accounting for more than 28% of global CO2 emissions. We are working to transform them into climate solutions!
Teracloud is a global software product company with a wide range of product lines from industrial power and climate controllers to esports platforms. Catering to our clients and partner companies worldwide, we have established offices in Australia, Armenia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Sweden, and the US, enhancing our efficiency and adaptability.
We have alegal team in the US, and we are looking for a person who can handle European matters and from time to time also customer IT agreements from non-EU countries.
Requirements
We are looking for an In-house Senior Legal Advisor to support Teracloud and Energy Machines in the operational running of the two companies. The role will include supporting the founder of both companies, the CEO and CFO of Energy Machines and key stakeholders within Teracloud in both legal and overall business issues. It is important to beready to act not only as an internal consultant but take ownership of issues and lead issues towards conclusions.
Key Responsibilities
You will assist with a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to:
- Legal Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain a variety of legal documents, including non-disclosure agreements, articles of association, and parent company guarantees.
- Business contracts and Agreements: Review and support client agreements, subcontractor/support agreements, update and maintain internal standard terms of agreements.
- Employment Law: Support the HR team in relevant legal requirements in relation to employment law.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and industry standards, keeping abreast of relevant changes and updates.
- Meeting Support: Assist in the preparation and documentation of board meetings and extraordinary board meetings.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to legal matters, such as organizing and maintaining legal files and records.
Qualifications:
- Native Danish and fluency in English is a requirement.
- We imagine you either have a Cand.merc.(jur.) or Cand.jur.
- Ideally you bring 4-6 years' global experience within the area of IT law, and/or similar experience from the construction industry.
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Curious mindset and independent working style.
Experience with the following is good to have:
- Non-Disclosure agreements.
- Experience within the building sector.
- Mamp;A’s.
- Knowledge of Swedish and Danish employment law.
- License agreements within the Software Industry.
