We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to join the Strategic Partnerships Area at the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The team supports all Programme Areas of the Foundation across our thematic pillars of health, sustainability, and the life science ecosystem.

Within the context of increasing pressure through climate change, global food shortages and public health crises, the Novo Nordisk Foundation seeks to increase its global reach. There is a growing need to forge strategic partnerships with Danish and international corporations, in line with the Foundation’s new Strategy 2030. The role of the Business Development Manager will offer a unique opportunity to work in a purpose-driven, private foundation alongside passionate and talented colleagues, who are committed to our vision to improve people’s health and the sustainability of society and the planet.

The Strategic Partnerships Area currently consists of three colleagues with diverse backgrounds. The team will further increase during the coming years as part of the Foundation’s strategy.

Curiosity outside of one’s own area is critical, due to the broad mandate of the Foundation. You should be well known for initiating collaboration between different business areas and your former colleagues will remember your excellent stakeholder management skills and miss working with you because of your ability to create results and keep good relationships with the people around you.

We imagine you have:

  • A degree in business management or administration, finance, or related field
  • Proven experience working as a business development manager or similar role
  • An extended scientific and industry network within a relevant field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with a proven track record of communicating complex content across organisational levels
