Bou is a new-school Nordic brand company working with clients such as Polestar, Klarna and Metacore. We are building brands in various domains, including design, marketing, communications and development.
To support our work, we have gathered together over 6500+ creative freelancers from 100+ countries, and are actively matching skilled freelancers with interesting clients.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations (PR) freelancer who is fluent in Danish amp; English to join our project team on a contractual basis for an upcoming project. The project is scheduled to start in early 2024 and will require approximately 10-20 hours of work per month. Contract will be first made with the first 3 months and continuing is possible. As a PR freelancer, you will join our project team to play a critical role in building and maintaining our client's public image and reputation in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging press materials such as localised press releases and media kits, and pitch them to media outlets to secure coverage
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers to generate positive media coverage and increase brand visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on PR activities and results
Requirements
We are looking for a freelancer PR freelancer with 5+ years of experience of press release writing, pitching amp; local media relations, with a proven track record.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Native level Danish amp; great English communications skills and knowledge of the Danish media landscape
- Proven work experience in PR or similar role, with a strong track record of successful PR campaigns and media coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling press materials and communicate with media contacts effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
