The role
To support our ambition to empower photographers globally, we are continuing to deepen and optimize our activities across several key groups in the photography ecosystem, including our in-market teams working with some of the world’s largest photography studios and retailers, strategic partners such as the leading camera manufacturers, and the education institutes cultivating the next generation of high-end professional photographers.
With a range of initiatives across each of these key segments, we are looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager, a highly structured and strategic thinker to join our team and enhance our capabilities to identify where the initiatives are, the mechanics to achieve and improve them, and then drive them to success.
In this multifaceted role, you will be leading key strategic projects by developing tactics to develop our commercial approaches towards our key external stakeholders. Execution is also a critical element, with the drive to create alignment towards projects across the relevant parts of our business to enable the market facing teams to be operational with new projects swiftly and effectively. In addition, a key component will be to determine and monitor financial and ROI analysis across initiatives, with the drive to challenge assumptions, test and optimize for learnings.
You will conduct deep dive analysis and be the go-to person for business cases and financial calculations in the team, spanning simple and complex scenarios. From within the Business Development team comprising Sales, Strategic Partners and Education groups, your main company-wide stakeholders and dependencies will be Customer Insights and Business Intelligence, Finance, and Product Analytics, as well as exposure towards the Executive Leadership team.
