By empowering Charge Point Operators and offering consistent charging experiences for Electrical Vehicle owners, Monta is laying the ground for a scalable and sustainable EV infrastructure.


The role and tasks

In the position of Financial Support Specialist, you will be a key element and one of the foundational pillars in shaping the culture, foundation and future of this new branch of Finance Support to our team. You will be our first hire and our voice to the outside world on support tickets and project-work around finance topics. It is crucial that you have a passion for helping people and enjoy getting nerdy about numbers and customer service. Our customers and partners are always the center of our focus and it is important to us that they get an amazing and memorable experience when they contact us.

Your primary tasks will consist of:

  • Communicating directly with our partners, operators and other VIP customers, primarily via conversations via email and messaging in a ticketing system, but also inbound and outbound calls.
  • Listen and respond to our customers needs and concerns and provide professional and friendly support at all times ensuring our customers are our number one priority.
  • Collaborate with teammates and other departments to troubleshoot and solve queries.
  • Take part in expanding our financial knowledge base and help with building a solid foundation for the future.
  • Prioritising tickets and ensuring the high-priority tickets are taken care of it and dealt with accordingly and in a timely manner and/or escalated accordingly.

Requirements

  • You are fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Italian.
  • You are located in Denmark and can work from our office in Copenhagen.
  • You have an above and beyond-mentality and are always willing to go the extra mile to help our customers.
  • You are resourceful and not afraid of reaching out to colleagues to find the right answers.
  • You have experience working in customer-facing environments and with handling financial queries.
  • You have attention to detail and are not afraid of taking ownership.

  • Have experience dealing with support queries on customer invoices including a basic understanding of VAT and different country requirements
  • Thrive working in a high-paced and super dynamic work environment.
  • Have a good understanding of business acumen and can not afraid to make important calls - sometimes on the spot.
  • Are motivated by the fact that we place the train tracks while we ride them and that you'll be 1st-gen Financial Support Monteer building our Finance Support Team for the future.
  • Would like to work in a company that’s making the world a better place and have a big focus on sustainability and diversity.
  • Are willing to develop existing knowledge to become a company champion of incoming customer billing related queries
  • Have a good level of numeracy and problem solving skills
  • Are confident to make the judgement calls on when to raise a query with our internal finance team or attempt to close out queries first time
  • Have a good understanding of the flow of payments from transaction to invoice to payment matching
