Job Description

Our client, a leading OTC / Personal Care Consumer Goods corporation is in immediate need of an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will lead and execute major programs/projects in support of Quality Management Process Changes. The emphasis will be on delivering projects on-time, within budget in a compliant and reliable manner. Preferably the candidate will have general Supply Chain Project Management experience, with some knowledge and comfort level with Quality Assurance, and QMS. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams from project onset through post implementation activities; define business case, develop and implement project charters and metrics; obtain stakeholder alignment; identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • The chosen candidates will use her/his sound management proficiency and robust business acumen to deliver superior business results. This individual will possess solid communication skills to be able to work with team members and management located locally and with counterparts globally.
  • Cross-functional project teams led by this individual may include Ramp;D, Support to Marketed Projects (SMP), Package Engineering, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Safety and Clinical, Procurement, Distribution, External Manufacturing, Internal Manufacturing, Planning and Finance.
  • Responsible for measuring and reporting on the Major Project Dashboard /Scorecard metrics and establishing a process of identifying and implementing Project Management Best Practices.
  • Provides overall project management leadership for major program governance and decision making forums.


  • 5+ years Pharmaceutical or Consumer Product Project Management experience
  • Quality Assurance experience preferred
  • Personal Care or OTC experienced preferred
  • Experience working in a GMP and regulated environment is preferred
  • PMP certification highly desirable
  • Basic understanding of Quality tools (NC / CAPA)
  • Process Excellence Certification desirable with experience in either Six Sigma or Lean
  • Experience in the following project management knowledge areas: effective collaboration, integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resourcing, communication, risk and procurement are preferred
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
  • Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Project, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint) is required
