Product Designer for Ageras
At Ageras we help micro businesses focus on what they do best, by providing simple business administration software. On our platform they can create invoices, subscriptions and integrate their e-commerce platform through our platform API’s. We let them manage their expenses via our web-app or mobile app, and even manage their payroll via our deep integration with Salary. More than 200.000 companies are registered and growing every day.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an awesome product designer, who wants to help us continue building the best and most user friendly accounting platform in Europe. You’ll become close teammates with 3 other product designers and 5 product managers in our Copenhagen and Helsinki office.
You are probably comfortable working across mobile and desktop apps, and don’t mind a few odd marketing website tasks mixed in for good measure. You still have the time to laugh at that coworker story about being locked in at the local waterpark the entire weekend.
Who you are
A product designer with a great attitude for collaboration and user understanding, not afraid to talk to customers face to face.
You have a few years of experience or just getting started, it’s not that important What is important is that you’re a problem solver at heart, not just interested in skin deep aesthetics, but in functional beauty that can make the difficult, easy.
While you’re a digital native, you still understand what makes design work across physical media. You clearly articulate design decisions, along with sound rationale to support them - yet you are not stubborn. And you have demonstrated experience in both visual and interactive design.
What we ask of you:
- Collaborative: You want to learn from others and see the value of teamwork
- Driven: You are self motivated and driven to improve your design and team skills
- Responsible: We give a lot of responsibility to our team members, and therefore you like to take responsibility for what you are doing. Ask all the questions you want, but the task is yours.
- Designer skills: You have a strong sense of both UI amp; UX, and understand the user amp; user flow before you begin designing.
While your weapon of choice is Figma, you are strong in the Adobe Creative Suite and can move between projects at a moment's notice, if needed.
What you'll do
- Solve very real problems for very real customers, which is what this is all about.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create the best product and features possible.
- Talk and test with customers on your design iteration
- Create prototypes
- Design beautiful amp; functional product features.
- Collaborate with the front-end development team making sure your creations come to life
- Further develop the design system
