The role you’ll play
LanguageWire is searching for an Infrastructure Engineer - A generalist, who loves to dig into all sorts of technology, someone to take on the responsibility for our core infrastructure and services, including our on-premises datacenters and Microsoft 365 cloud services. You will make sure that our core services and the fundament they are built on are solid. You will ensure that uptime and stability are always in focus. We are expanding rapidly via acquisitions, and there is always a need for consolation, migration, and overall improvements.
The team you’ll be a part of
The team consists of the Head of IT Infrastructure and Support based in Copenhagen, 4 IT Support engineers in Valencia, Spain, 1 Senior IT Engineer in Copenhagen, 1 IT Engineer in Valencia and a couple of external consultants in Copenhagen. Together we will be designing, implementing, and managing the datacenter amp; network infrastructure. You will have a strong collaboration with other teams spread across the organization to ensure delivery of high-quality IT Services.
If you want to make a difference, make it with us by having
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Engineer or similar
- A systematically and disciplined approach with tasks
- All-round knowledge about Datacenter amp; Network
- Good knowledge about Microsoft 365 services

- A genuine desire to always improve things
- Windows Server OS family advanced troubleshooting experience
- General knowledge of virtualization technologies
- Experience with Hyper-V (and VMware) virtualization infrastructures
- Datacenter and branch network understanding
- Core network knowledge (able to diagnose network-related issues from both workstation and server perspective)
- Hands-on experience with Core Network including Router, Firewall and VPN
