The bigger picture Where we're heading We’re in scale-up territory, and the road ahead is full of exciting challenges. The coming quarters are filled with ambitious sales initiatives, so here’s what we’d like you to focus on: Owning a territory within our world-class mid-market sales team which includes start to finish of a sales cycle, owning your individual new business revenue number, and related forecasts. You’ll be given full reigns, but of course have guidance and mentorship from our Director of Sales. Overseeing the entire sales cycle You’ll generate new meetings with potential customers through hyper-personalized outreach (as well as working with meetings secured by our marketing efforts and our sales development team), all the way through to developing strategies and leveraging pain points for closing customers within your assigned territory. Influencing prospecting and pipeline You’ll self generate a portion of your pipeline, while building strong relationships and closing complex, net new deals in a collaborative, inquisitive and empathetic way. Weaving exceptional customer experience (/friendship ) into our sales processes. You will lead and collaborate with a go-to market team, all working closely to help the business (and you, of course) reach revenue goals. It’s important that you do this with a focus on curiosity and understanding to build and foster successful business relationships. Building a deep understanding of key prospect accounts You’ll channel your natural curiosity and empathetic style into gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation of your territory, which includes individual prospects’ goals, challenges and bespoke needs. You:
have done this whole ‘selling software’ thing before You have a successful and consistent track record in mid-market software sales (i.e. SaaS), meeting and/or exceeding quota.
have experience in managing the entire sales cycle (which can be anywhere between 1-2 months) from generating pipeline, all the way to articulating ROI in the negotiation to closing.
have sold to multiple Executive/C-Level stakeholders with the proven ability to comfortably navigate complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities, selling a solution that has significant business impact.
are MEDDICCC trained or have experience using the MEDDICCC framework coupled with an empathetic and collaborative approach.
in an ideal world, have been in scale up territory before We landed our Series B in February and are entering hyper-growth. We’re looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment while adapting and understanding change within the evolution of a scale up.
