Job Summary

Reporting into HR Services Manager. Team member in a global HR team with a focus on improving the employee life cycle, reviewing existing processes and documentation to evolve the service to deliver a high-quality service to the business. Drive a culture of process improvement with a tight focus on data integrity and an excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR issues, proactively informing and answering questions to provide a high-quality service.
  • Review current set-up of Nordics and German payrolls (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany) with a view to simplifying outsourcing in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Review of Nordics and German employment contracts (review and update templates and translate to English or dual language)
  • Review and update handbook / policies (working with the HR Services team to globally align where possible)
  • HR admin
  • HR advisory
  • Scan all employee documents (to store digitally and securely)
  • Review local processes to ensure compliance and to evaluate process effectiveness. Identify processes that need updating and take appropriate action.
  • Actively identify and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement of HR practices, delivering improvements where appropriate.
  • Review and continuously improve data integrity, engaging with key stakeholders and leading relevant people to ensure that data Integrity becomes part of business-as-usual activity.
  • Ensure the HR database is up to date, accurate and is compliant with legislation.
  • Administer HR-related documentation and complete the required processes.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management and third-party suppliers
  • Support the delivery of key HR initiatives which will include project work, gathering data, reporting etc.
  • Understand and demonstrate the ability to work flexibly as part of a team and to take on new projects and initiatives that are considered to fall within the duties and responsibilities of the job role.

Qualifications, Experience amp; Skills

  • Previous experience in an international HR environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (the business language is English)
  • Experience of processing payrolls in Denmark and Sweden (payroll providers used in Norway and Germany)
  • Experience of process improvement
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Professional and approachable
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team (including team members in other countries)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
