An opportunity has now opened up for a Chief Operating Officer to join our team.The role

• This rapidly growing business area in Rainmaking (covering industries related to global trade and transport) is accelerating from an already talented team to a team that is 3-5 times bigger to sustain the growth trajectory and vision.
• This specifically requires a COO who can build and scale our operations.
• This will include setting our goal, strategy, tracking and optimizing our operations globally.
• It also requires a COO who can identify, validate and recruit top talent across roles from VC Fund, Open Innovation Platform, Venture Studio and a host of Innovation Projects.
• Finally, we need a COO who can ensure we continue to deliver quality in all we do and is the backbone for our global operations.

Experience Skills

• We are growing fast and the number of activities we span also grows fast. This means we need a person with a high level of energy and capacity to deal with a lot of complexity in a short span of time.
• At the same time we need a person who has a strong desire to deliver quality and to deliver on time.
• And a person with a high sense of integrity and values that match the Rainmaking culture. See below for more on that.
• Finally, we need a visionary who will be able to constantly iterate on our global setup for operations and team design and composition.
• At least 5 years delivering on projects and assignments in the wider tech or innovation space.
• Experience management consulting
• Experience in startups (through employment, being a founder, being an investor or through work in a venture builder)
• Experience in creating and building high performance teams and operations.
• Ideally six sigma or similar experience in the domain of process excellence.
