Job Description

2021 is already a year to remember for Planday. A few weeks ago we became part of the Xero family, joining forces with one of the planet's biggest cloud-based accounting software platforms to further deliver on our purpose to make life easier for employers and employees the world over. Aligned with Xero’s passion for businesses, people and growth, we’re looking forward to working together to build a strong launchpad for businesses and employees to manage their time and reach their joint potential in life and at work.

To maintain our growth trajectory through 2021 and beyond, we are excited to continue assembling our newly built (and rapidly expanding) in-house recruitment department. Hiring for up to 15 roles at any given time, we are looking to add a Nordic Talent Acquisition Partner with a Commercial focus, to our ranks.

Working alongside Lawrence van der Merwe, Anna Fischer and the broader People amp; Culture team, you will play a crucial role in shaping recruitment best practice and maintaining hiring volume, primarily for our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success divisions. In 2021, these Planday departments will strive for constant growth, particularly in the Scandinavian markets (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian).

As our new Talent Acquisition Partner for these teams, you will work out of a central recruitment Scrum unit aligned under the Agile philosophy, taking shared responsibility for:

  • Hiring systems, overviews, records and reporting
  • Job descriptions and other more intricate regional forms of employer branding
  • Recruitment process design and administration
  • Candidate experience management
  • Agency/supplier relationships and in-house headhunting
  • Ongoing education and training of hiring managers and support staff

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, you will need full professional fluency in Danish, English, and hopefully one of Swedish and/or Norwegian. You will be speaking to candidates and producing engaging written/employer brand content in these language(s).
  • You will need a global perspective: an intuitive understanding of (and interest in) questions of group culture(s) and individual identity dynamics, and the interconnection of systems and structures
  • You will also need to have a very strong motivation and work ethic, either to continue your career journey in this field or to learn from scratch.
  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, particularly in a Scandinavian market, would be ideal, but is not strictly required.

Benefits

  • If this will be your first job, or one of your first roles in talent acquisition, we can offer you extensive training and development. You will learn the ropes of international commercial recruitment in the tech/software space, and the foundations of universal, research-based hiring design and practice.
  • Whether this is your first job or not, your work will shape the way recruitment is done and conceptualized in a successful, high-growth global business environment. The mark you make will shape the future of this Planday function as we establish it, and this leaves a unique amount of room for the individual.
  • Last but certainly not least, you will have the opportunity to learn from - and share your work, experience and motivation with - TA colleagues in a dedicated Scrum unit covering recruitment across the business.

We're really looking forward to hearing from you!
