Are you ready to become the COO of an fast growing international scale-up?

We are looking for a highly competent COO to help us become the next great company to come out of Denmark.

You'll be a key member of our leadership team and work directly with our CEO to set the overall strategy and vision for Tame. You will be directly responsible for the efficiency of the business and building an effective organisation. Your overall goal is to secure that Tame's operations and processes are scalable enough to support our ambitious growth journey to become the leading Hybrid Event Platform globally.

Responsibilities

  • You will be visionary about our mission and passionate about positioning Tame to become the de-facto Hybrid Event Platform
  • You will be responsible for all day-to-day operations and administration of the business (ie. proactively mitigate business, governance, compliance and operational risks)
  • You will build and lead a high-performance, cross-functional operations team and cultivate an strong, agile and unified team culture
  • You will partner with the CEO to collaborate effectively with the Board of Directors and reach our ambitious goals
  • You will drive future fundraising rounds together with the CEO - from crafting decks to presenting to investors
  • You will develop and implement business strategies, plans and processes that scales Tames business
  • You will shape and manage the financial strategy, drive scenario planning and business model development
  • You will drive overall design of how to build and scale Tame's organisation and operating model
  • You will establish policies that promote company culture and vision fostering a experience-centric, dynamic and agile mindset
  • You will set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
  • You will have Head of Sales amp; Head of Customer Success as direct reports

Requirements

  • You're one of the three:
    • 1. You're currently in a Head of/VP/C-level role in a growth startup (range 50-200+ ppl)
    • 2. You have min. 2-4 years consulting background (BCG, McKinsey, Bain etc) or
    • 3. You have min. 2-4 years financial background - banking, private equity of VC
  • You have direct experience with successfully building and scaling international operations from scratch with a focus on organisational development, strategy, finance, HR, compliance/regulatory and customer operations
  • You have experienced start-up/scale up leader in early-stage and lean, fast-paced environments with proven ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty
  • You have experience in tech/SaaS start up/scale up financing and venturing i.e. creating scenario models and business case materials
  • You can be hands-on combined with ability to set strategic direction and guide a company through different phases of growth, knowing how to build and ramp up a scalable organisation
  • You are incredibly strong at developing processes and metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • You have experience in setting up customer service operations through third parties, negotiating contracts and maintaining and developing partnerships
  • You are an high empathy leader who cares and invests in the team and with proven ability to build, grow and manage highly performing teams
  • You have strong analytical skills amp; data-driven mindset to evaluate performance and make adequate operational decisions
  • You are embrace an open and honest communication style, challenge ideas and demonstrate a collaborative working style
  • You are fluent in English in writing and speech

BONUS:

  • You have previous experience with fundraising would be ideal
  • You have previous experience working for B2C, B2B2C and digital product companies
  • Other languages are a plus
