As we are continuously growing our customer base, we are are currently looking for new Swedish-speaking colleagues to join our team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).

Our SDR Team is the core of Planday’s sales engine, which drives the continual scaling of our business and our product. As the starting point for revenue generation, the Planday Sales Development Representative position is a commission-incentivized, activity-based role centered around clear targets for active outreach and cold contact.

As our new Swedish-speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be working in a team of currently seven colleagues located in our Copenhagen headquarters and will be focusing on new business in Sweden. You will be responsible for contacting outbound prospects and qualifying and booking meetings for our Account Executives with the overall goal of winning new business. Additionally, your main tasks will include:

  • Reaching 100 activities (phone calls and e-mails) per day, with a talk time over 75 minutes
  • Delivering a minimum of 10 meetings held per month
  • Working with your team and the Account Executives to reach the quarterly CRR target of 10.000 Euro


The SDR team is responsible for delivering qualified first demo appointments through a process of engagement, fact-finding and qualifying business pains and objectives that our Account Executive Team can sell to. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and enjoy proactively reaching out to new potential customers. Additionally, you should:

  • Be professionally fluent in Swedish and English
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a sales role, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Have a good understanding of standard sales tools, including Salesforce and Salesloft
  • Be able to quickly understand customer needs and and how the company value proposition is situated within that context
  • Enjoy working with a high activity level and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

For this role, we are open to hear from interested candidates with less working experience or experience in other fields. However, your motivation to start a career in Sales and the carryover of your skills would need to be clearly described.


As part of our SDR team, you will work within a team of dynamic and very engaged colleagues. As our product is designed to make life easier for shift workers all over the world, you will be in touch with different stakeholders in companies ranging from hospitality to healthcare and everything in-between, so no day will be exactly like the last!

Though this is a sales role, our overall goal is rather to build great relationships with our potential clients and book quality meetings instead of only focusing on making as many calls as possible.

Additionally, in this position you will play a key role in helping Planday grow its business and achieve our internal goals.
