Job Description

We’re changing the way people enjoy wine, and consequently disrupting one of the oldest industries on the planet. By harnessing the power of technology and social behavior, we’ve created the world’s largest - and smartest - wine community and marketplace. Over the next ten years, the global market for online wine sales is expected to grow significantly and Vivino will be at the forefront of this growth. Now is the time to join a fast-paced and growing team.

Based in Copenhagen and reporting to the Senior Manager of CRM, the Student Assistant will be crucial to helping the team build emails and push notifications that help the company drive revenue via B2C CRM communication across multiple European markets. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with HTML/CSS and is excited at the opportunity of learning more about marketing campaign development and operations.

A day at the office
You will be helping to clean up email content and setting up push notifications in our CRM tool, SimonData. Some days you may be helping to review the content for upcoming tests to make sure the tests are clear and correct, and other days you may be jumping in to help the team create personalized segments to help users get the most relevant communications from us. As you develop your expertise, you may start to help with troubleshooting email rendering issues, supporting some inbound questions for CRM, and shadowing the team as they pull data to evaluate the success of campaigns.

The position is part-time with approximately 15 working hours per week, spread over at least 2-3 weekdays. We will plan your working days in advance and make the plan fit your study and exams. There will be an option to work both remotely and in the office, but it is a requirement that you will be able to meet with the team in the Copenhagen office on a regular basis.

  • Build emails via WYSIWYG and HTML/CSS
  • Test and schedule emails, both automated and one-off emails
  • Ensure messages are mobile-friendly
  • Work with multiple teams globally
  • Work with the eCommerce team to drive revenue on a daily basis
  • Support the CRM team on the ideation and implementation of emails, including lifecycle emails, trigger-based emails, and revenue-driving emails
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution, as required

Qualifications and skills
The ideal candidate has technical skills but also is curious, open-minded, and looking to learn about marketing and CRM. Furthermore, we hope to see that you have:

  • At least one year left of your education
  • Excellent English language skills - written and orally
  • Interest in Marketing - prior experience with any CRM is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and aptitude to learn dynamic coding languages like Jinja
  • Resourceful and willing to dive in and find answers to questions that may not yet be documented
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Pristine attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in wine amp; the wine industry is a plus but not required
