As Product Innovation Manager at Ascendis Pharma the main criteria of success is to help Ascendis Pharma identify and select new drug candidates using Ascendis Pharma’s innovative and proprietary TransCon technology in existing and new therapeutic area.
The Product Innovation Manager will report to Director of Product Innovation and become an integrated part of a very dedicated and experienced group consisting of senior leaders from Innovation, Research, and Intellectual Property.
The successful candidate will play a prominent role in the group, and work to define the activities that pertain to future pipeline projects at Ascendis Pharma. Furthermore, the candidate will play a pivotal role in scientific due diligence both related to Ascendis Pharma’s assets and potential licensing opportunities.
You will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities and for developing the strategy of expanding Ascendis Pharma’s therapeutic focus beyond rare endocrine diseases and oncology.
The main areas of responsibility are:
Ideally, you hold a relevant university degree in the life sciences , as a minimum,a Ph.D in Pharmacy, Biology, pharmacology or the like.
The successful applicant will already have a proven record of accomplishment within biotech or biopharma. Furthermore, you have experience in developing business cases, , and conducting scientific and technical analysis and presenting it on a very high level.
You are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken, and you master MS Office.

You are analytical and science-driven, and you are capable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner. You are passionate about the work you are doing and like to take the challenge. You are pragmatic with an open and communicative approach, have the ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
