Commoditrader is looking for a highly motivated Partnership Account Manager to initiate and run partnerships with local market leaders. Together we stand stronger and we need to stand strong when supporting farmers in changing +100 years of production practices in order for them to produce in a more climate friendly manner.

With a mission to drive environmental and economic sustainability for agriculture, Commoditrader is a young, Danish founded, and well-funded company with mission-driven professionals in all seats. We are here to help farmers by providing tools, services and incentives to undergo radical transitions towards sustainable practices. Our technology platform both contains a marketplace helping farmers optimize the price on their produce, and latest CommodiCarbon our Carbon Payment Programme to help farmers fund their transition and optimize how cropland is managed.

We’re a young’ish team with a modern working style so although our HQ is in Nyhavn, Copenhagen, we’re digital at heart, and therefore our team is located all over Europe.

About the role

As our Partnership Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing regional distribution partnerships. We expect you to set up efficient and scalable processes for partners to roll out Commodicarbon regionally across Europe.

You will be driving customer conversion in collaboration with our partners, with accountability for commercial outcomes of course with the constant target to drive carbon emission reductions in the agricultural industry.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Set up strong partnerships with leading market actors across a selected number of countries
  • Setup the structure, processes amp; tools for working efficiently in collaboration with partners and our internal Customer Success team
  • Drive communications and marketing activity and budgets with partners in collaboration with Marketing and Comms.
  • Key accountant for partners
  • Being a hands-on active participant

Requirements

The key to success in this role is to have a goal-oriented, go-getter mindset that strives to find solutions and have a passion for sales through partnering.

Necessary:
  • Business education
  • 3-5 years in sales and/or partnership role
  • Learning capacity to quickly gain acceptance from more specialized partners in a domain area (agriculture/carbon) with limited prior training/experience
  • Experience in building partnerships and working with distributors
  • Experience with B2B
  • Fluency in English
  • You must thrive with both high ambitions as well as expectations

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in working in a scale-up business
  • Agricultural insights / working experience
  • Multi-language
