Our global Finance team plays an essential role in helping Planday to scale internationally. The Accounts Receivable team is a new team within our Finance structure, and a new role as Accounts Receivable Specialist will give you the opportunity to shape processes and implement systems as we grow. As our Accounts Receivable Specialist you will help ensure all debtor reporting is accurate, payments are matched on a timely basis, aged debt is chased and collected, customer queries are answered promptly and processes are improved and implemented as required.
Specifically, you will:
- Contact customers with aged debt and - in conjunction with debt collection agencies - collect if applicable
- Accurately match payments to invoices, ensuring accuracy in debtor reporting
- Resolve and respond to customer queries as they arise, prioritising and solving in a timely manner
- Set up new customers in our system and facilitate accurate invoicing of new and existing clients
- Manage Planday's bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
As our ideal candidate, you possess:
- At least 1+ year(s) of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within the software/SaaS industry, handling/delivering on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- A high level of systems knowledge within Microsoft Excel and Salesforce, and the ability to learn and navigate new systems as required
- A thorough understanding of sales and correct VAT treatments: preferably EU VAT Legislation and within the Nordics
- A willingness to challenge accepted practice and make continual improvements to our systems
- The ability to build productive relationships with colleagues and our customers
