Reporting to the CEO, The VP of Commercial amp; Growth will play a pivotal role in the next phase of Goodiebox’s growth in 2021 and beyond.

A critical element of the role will be to build out the development of Goodiebox’s growth and commercial strategy across all channels including performance marketing, CRM and loyalty, and social media in the Nordics, DACH and the Benelux regions. In addition, she/he will be accelerating regional and international expansion (Europe and US).

Responsibilities:

  • Bring a highly entrepreneurial flair and a commercial and growth mindset with deep experience in scaling a high growth eCommerce/Direct with Consumer business. Someone with a low ego and collaborative ethos to work with the wider team is a must as this role will enhance cross-functional collaboration with other teams including brand/creative, operations, product and technology, and finance.
  • Working closely with the CEO and other business stakeholders, the VP will contribute to shaping the vision for the commercial and marketing strategy via building a robust Growth plan
  • Drive and further develop Goodiebox’s Growth organisation with emphasis on commercial, revenue generation and growth/performance marketing
  • Act as the voice of the international markets and drive the commercial strategy for Goodiebox
  • Lead and instill a culture of constant testing amp; learning to discover new and innovative ways to scale marketing initiatives; scaling into new countries as well as experimentation with new channels (TikTok, Youtube, Referrals amp; CRM)
  • Create processes to increase and track ROI through the development and implementation of targeting strategies based on disciplined analytical analysis
  • Manage budgeting process for marketing, including forecasting and ROI assessments
  • Integrate closely with the creative team to optimize all efforts across channels and drive top line growth
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify and implement solutions to improve conversion
  • Partner with diverse and cross-functional leaders to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent brand experiences across all channels and touchpoints
  • Build and develop a team, who are highly engaged and motivated, challenged and driven by overachieving goals.
  • Enhance the use of data at all levels across the entire business
  • Identify areas of improvement and create solutions/process flows to be implemented throughout to create efficiencies
  • Collaborate with the Technology team to implement capabilities that enable faster and more efficient campaign execution

Requirements

  • Passionate about Digital amp; Beauty / Wellness would be a plus
  • Be obsessed with driving growth through innovative and efficient commercial performance
  • Has owned a new business line or new channels as well as having gained experience in a leading eCommerce / D2C / B2C business
  • Bring a combination of commercial and marketing skills and curiosity into building a high growth innovative digital beauty company
  • Experienced in achieving significant improvement in core channels whilst maintaining low cost of acquisition
  • Prior experience and ability to operate in a remote work environment
  • Has strong analytical acuity and data-driven decision-making capability and can bring a metrics, data and performance driven approach to Goodiebox
  • Experience building the performance marketing function (team, process, tools) including growth hacking squads
  • Expert knowledge of growth and acquisition metrics including digital media planning, buying and optimization, SEO/SEM strategies, retargeting, paid social, paid acquisition tactics and best practice
