As our Procurement Specialist for the Nordics you will continuously be looking for the best processes to order the products in our assortment, with focus on the Danish and Norwegian market and suppliers. Looking for efficient ways to share with several suppliers what our different warehouses need is the puzzle to be solved together with the supplies themselves. Further, as the Procurement Specialist, you will act as the first point of contact to the suppliers in the daily business.

This is what you’ll do:

• Take ownership over product availability at our warehouses (hidden supermarkets) across the Nordics and in full delivery from our suppliers
• Keep in daily contact with other office departments within Gorillas, suppliers and operations to ensure in full delivery as well as maximum product availability
• Act and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing and expanding environment
• Collect data and report on KPIs (such as product availability, out of stock, in full delivery and waste) and translate issues into improvements on how we order in the future
• Play a key role in setting up standard operating procedures and continuously strive to improve them

Requirements

You’re an experienced Procurement Specialist in the food retail environment. With your knowledge and adaptability, you are comfortable about how to act now but also prepare for future expansion within the Nordics market.

• Completed university studies in supply chain management or a related field
• Experienced Procurement Specialist in the field of food retailing (1-3 years)
• Proficiency in English
• Fluent or native in Danish or Norwegian
• Understanding of the dynamics of food retail and knowledge on how to improve the way to replenish at different scales
• Easily adapt in a rapidly changing and expanding environment
• Proven ability to manage your own priorities and impact
• Eligible to work in Denmark without visa sponsorship
