The role you'll play

You will be a head of two strong teams, IT-support and IT-infrastructure, ensuring the best overall IT services delivery quality on time and on budget. You will need to continuously evolve IT operations and security aspects in already ISO27001-certified environment, evolving to Tisax compliance and extending coverage to all offices. You will be a core driver to accelerate already happening IT services cloud transition journey and datacenters and services consolidation, achieving higher operational efficiency.

Desired experience and competencies

What you’ll need to bring

  • Process - level thinking, continuous-improvement thinking
  • Production experience of maintaining a fleet of VMs (~400VMs scale, mainly Microsoft stack)
  • S2D clusters production handling experience with high (99.9) SLA requirements
  • Deep technical knowledge in failover networking and Geo-distributed networking
  • Real practical IT operations experience with all of the Office 365 services family
  • High automation tooling knowledge
  • Strong identity management, hybrid tenant (on-prem+AzureAD) scenarios
  • Deep understanding of security principles and how to practically implement security requirements in ops processes and systems design
  • Very strong charisma and communication skills, being able to align different teams to work together on a common subject, lead by showing an example to follow, motivate and mentor individuals
  • Very strong project management, including time management, resources planning, tooling and reporting
  • Strong self-management and planning: produce IT strategy, IT budget, project roadmap with sense of details

This will make you stand out

  • Being tightly familiar with DevOps practices, since your team will collaborate with SRE’s and Dev teams.
  • Knowing Azure DevOps (TFS) is a big practical plus
  • ITIL (v3/v4) best practices as driving guidance
  • According to certifications, confirming your experience and it’s continuous development is a plus
  • Offshore communication and collaboration experience (your team is remote/offshore based)
