Job Description

2021 is already a year to remember for Planday. A few weeks ago we became part of the Xero family, joining forces with one of the planet's biggest cloud-based accounting software platforms to further deliver on our purpose to make life easier for employers and employees the world over. Aligned with Xero’s passion for businesses, people and growth, we’re looking forward to working together to build a strong launchpad for businesses and employees to manage their time and reach their joint potential in life and at work.

To continue our growth path, we are now looking for our new Inbound Sales Manager, who will take over the responsibility of our team of Marketing Development Representatives (MDRs).

Our MDR team currently consists of six colleagues, located in Stockholm, Copenhagen and London. The team is responsible for identifying new sales leadsof all sizes (starting from 10 employees upwards), which are received over our marketing channels (i.e. website, chat, or social media channels), and converting them into booked meetings for our team of Account Executives.

As our new Inbound Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of this team. Therefore, your daily tasks will include:

  • Continuous assessment, clarification and validation of inbound sales strategies and processes
  • Measurement of, response to and reporting on individual MDR performance metrics
  • Performance training and reviews with individual team members
  • Development of strategic process improvement plans
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new team members

Requirements

As our ideal candidate, you thoroughly understand the mechanisms of inbound business-to-business (B2B) sales. You've worked with sales teams in multiple locations, cultures, and languages; and you've found a personal passion for coaching, mentoring and developing sales professionals. More specifically, you will require:

  • A minimum of one year experience in a managerial role for a sales team within the software/SaaS industry, and preferably from a high-growth start-up environment
  • Experience with reaching and exceeding team targets of booking 700+ held client meetings per quarter
  • Fluency in English, as well as a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) or German
  • A strong track record of having recruited and enabled motivated, high-performing sales teams
  • Full proficiency with Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, or other CRM tools

It is regarded as a plus if you have worked your way up from an SDR/MDR position yourself.

Benefits

This is a really exciting opportunity to join Planday in a phase of growth and development. In this role you will shape and develop the future of Planday's inbound sales function. You will be located in our beautiful headquarters in Copenhagen, but as your team is located across Europe, we provide you the possibility of frequent travelling to meet with your team members in person (once Corona allows this).

This role also comes with an attractive commission-incentivized salary structure and you will join a team of high performers in pursuing the ambitious goal of improving the lives of billions of shift workers around the world!

Send your application today!

If this sounds like an opportunity for you, we are looking forward to your application. Due to summer vacation, we will be reviewing applications in the first week of August.
