As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a new team member to join our Revenue team as Infosec amp; Compliance Manager, to build a separate function dealing exclusively with Information Security within Planday.
As our new Infosec amp; Compliance Manager, you will be reporting directly into our VP of Revenue Operations and will lead the extended security team, consisting of internal colleagues across functions. Additionally, you will work in close collaboration with financial, legal and commercial teams, to manage a program of continuous improvements in relation to Information Security and Privacy across the company.
As our new Infosec amp; Compliance Manager, your tasks will include:
- Maintaining of SOC2, ISO and Cyber essentials certifications
- Establishing an Information Security improvement roadmap (and progressing towards the same)
- Assisting our Customer Success and Sales teams in answering customer questions regarding Information and Data Security
- Managing and supporting audits regarding Information Security, both internal and external
- Creating and maintaining documentation regarding Information Security for both internal and external parties
- Owning the company internal Information Security training for employees
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should be a hands-on self-starter who is just as comfortable working at the strategic as well as the operational level. Ideally, you have worked in a similar SaaS Scale-up environment. You are proactive, energetic, and have the ability to work not only with people inside your organization, but also with external stakeholders and customers.
Additionally, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience in an Information Security role, including experience of developing Information Security policies and plans
- Good understanding of GDPR and other privacy laws
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security protocols
- Excellent understanding of Information Security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies
- Experience in working with and advising both technical as well as business teams
It is considered a benefit if you have received the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, or similar.
