Develop and implement Vivino’s new e-commerce fulfillment strategy for Europe

As Head of Fulfillment Europe, you will be reporting to the Director of Operations Europe; you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer experience by creating an innovative and optimized fulfillment strategy for our 11 European markets and developing a transition plan. You will work cross-functionally to improve our fulfillment and delivery operations and performance within each market as well as cross-border.

You will have the opportunity to work from one of our European offices in Copenhagen (DK), Haarlem (NL), Bordeaux (FR), Hamburg or Würzburg (DE), London (GB), Milan (IT), Madrid (ES).

Your key responsibilities, as Head of Fulfillment, Europe, entails:

  • Strategic outlook: create our next-gen fulfillment strategy, setting mid/long term strategic objectives to fulfill orders from our owned supply, our marketplace supply, and our partner wineries, nationally and internationally across our 11 European markets,
  • Scaling operations: ensure a smooth transition to the new fulfillment set up by negotiating and developing partnerships with new/existing fulfillment partners and carriers/shipping partners,
  • Drive efficiency: review and optimize current processes and tools, especially around inventory management, warehousing, and post-purchase (returns, damages), in close collaboration with our Operations team,
  • Drive performance: improve the fulfillment and delivery performance by identifying key areas of inefficiencies across our 11 markets, working closely with our Operations and Customer Experience teams,
  • Customer-centric: develop a strong understanding of our customers, set up a program of continuous improvement to always look at new ways we can best serve our customers from ‘Checkout to Delivery including Returns’


A customer-centric leader with a proven track record in e-commerce fulfillment

We are looking for you if you have excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, can work cross-functionally, and coach others towards a common goal. We also imagine you to have the ability to assimilate knowledge from a wide range of sources quickly and accurately.

Adding to the description above, we also hope to see that you have and can demonstrate:

  • 5+ years experience in e-commerce fulfillment in Europe, preferably within a complex B2C/D2C environment
  • 3+ years in fulfillment service provider negotiations
  • Track record of transformational/disruptive strategy and process improvements to support a high growth marketplace
  • Strong IT skills and understanding of technical integrations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Nice to have: an interest in wine!
