About The Role

Goodiebox is looking for a motivated, aspiring software engineer to help us scale our customer experience operations. The primary responsibilities will be coordinating with and providing technical solutions to our customer experience team, Team Happiness; identifying and articulating ambiguous or undefined issues; and aiding in the development of automation and tooling for internal stakeholders.

As a member of Team Tech, you will bring a members-first approach to supporting the development of our digital product and empowering Team Happiness to provide a first-class customer experience. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Work closely with Team Happiness to identify and solve technical issues for our members
  • Organize and communicate common and urgent issues to the team and stakeholders
  • Document solutions and conduct training for users
  • Contribute to the development of fixes, automation, and features for our tooling and platform

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience working in customer support, technical support, or a similar role
  • Professional-level written and spoken English communication skills
  • Familiarity with software-as-a-service or eCommerce platforms and user account management
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate proactively with stakeholders
  • Enthusiasmthis role focuses heavily on personal growth and development, and where you want to go is more important than where you’ve been

Preferred qualifications:

  • BSc in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field, or enrollment in such a program
  • Familiarity with a modern programming language and ecosystem, or the desire to learn
