About The Role
Goodiebox is looking for an experienced software engineer with an eCommerce focus to help us build our digital product and expand our eCommerce platform. The primary responsibilities will be developing and administering our Shopify shop, building and maintaining integrations with our subscription platform and third-party services, and contributing to the development of our core products.
As a member of Team Tech, you will bring a members-first mindset to developing our subscription and eCommerce platforms and expanding our digital offerings. Day-to-day, you will:
- Coordinate and prioritize with stakeholders to develop, administer, and expand our Shopify shop
- Build and maintain integrations between our shop and our subscription platform, as well as third-party services
- Participate in product discovery by providing guidance and development for shop resources
- Support product delivery by contributing to the development of our core subscription platform services
Requirements
- BSc in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years experience in software engineering or related role
- Professional-level written and spoken English communication skills
- Proficiency with Shopify and Shopfiy app development
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate proactively with stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with business-to-consumer or eCommerce development
- Experience integrating with third-party payment or logistics providers
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or a comparable cloud services provider; TypeScript, React and the Node.js ecosystem; REST APIs; relational and document databases; git and GitHub
