Job Description

As a Customer Development Manager you could be based in either Aarhus or Copenhagen

Are you passionate about customer development and would you like to work with customer development within a portfolio of existing customers, in a P/E owned tech company in the LSP industry, currently outgrowing the market, with AI at its heart? Yes? You should definitely read on!

The role you’ll play

You’ll become an expert in our mix of products and solutions and effectively introduce these to our existing customers. You’ll become an expert in the customers in our existing portfolio and come to understand their needs, buying process and business challenges, which will help you identify how these can be solved by LanguageWire’s solutions.

The team you’ll be part of

You’ll have a unique role and work with both our Customer Success and Business Development teams. Therefore, you’ll not only become an expert in mapping our customers, getting to know who key stakeholders are and effectively presenting our solutions, but you’ll also gain a deep understanding of how we currently work with each customer and what other areas of their businesses need our assistance.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Mapping assigned customers and becoming an expert on their company structure
  • Understanding if and how we work with different customer entities in different regions
  • Identifying which unused solutions across our portfolio could be used by the customer and working with our teams to sell them these services
  • Learning which customer stakeholders are responsible for which requirements
  • Contacting customer stakeholders and working across LanguageWire from engagement to presentation to business creation.

In one year, you’ll know you were successful if

  • Have a deep understanding of the customers you work with and have developed deep, trusting relationships with them
  • Colleagues can call upon you to know even the most granular details about your customers' requirements
  • You understand the business and you have been a part of a significant amount of customer development for the company
Desired experience and competencies

What you’ll need to bring

  • University Degree or relevant work experience
  • Understanding of customer buying lifecycle - from lead generation through business closing
  • A consultancy toolbox (problem solving, analytical mindset, stakeholder management, presentation skills etc.)
  • Ideally 3 up to 7 years of sales or account management expertise dealing with large to multinational companies
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM system
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish language skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This will make you stand out

  • Experience in the translation/content/software industry
  • Experience in prospecting and reaching out to new customers
  • Previous experience in managing the pipeline business
