We have exciting times ahead. While growing, expanding our markets globally, we are scaling up. As part of this journey, and based out of Copenhagen, we are looking for a new Sales Excellence Manager to support our global commercial teams, including Sales and Partnerships.

This is a newly created position with core responsibilities including creating an impactful customer onboarding experience, developing efficient and effective sales learning solutions, improving product knowledge and developing commercial skills in our sales SaaS workforce. This will be in parallel to increasing the value gained from our tools, systems and learning platform/partners in close cooperation with Sales, Marketing and People Experience.

Your passion is to make a companywide impact both from an enablement perspective, on-the-job training and coaching plus data insights.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with all local commercial leaders to regularly identify specific and relevant learning opportunities at team, regional and global levels
  • Establish and build a strong foundation and structure for Sales Excellence at Planday
  • Proactively work closely with our Product Marketing team
  • Own our commercial onboarding program across our markets, evaluating and constantly improving this experience in line with feedback and business needs
  • Use our data tools to be the ‘best practice ambassador’ for building efficiencies into our sales stages, processes and use of our systems
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and drive an engaging commercial development experience
  • Enable cross functional learning and sharing through productive relationships such as between Sales, Customer Success, Product, Data and Talent Development
  • In Partnership with People Experience, scope future commercial learning platforms and opportunities to provide reps and managers with a robust development toolkit
  • Report on a range of success metrics to track progress and success across initiatives and changes that impact commercial teams
  • Influence productive change through data analysis, knowledge building and skills development across our teams
  • Deliver visibility to commercial leaders on most impactful training and development content.

Requirements

If you see yourself reflecting these requirements, you might be our new Sales Excellence Manager:

  • Experience working in Commercial or Enablement roles within Sales/Sales Operations teams
  • Knowledge and experience of the SaaS world and high-growth tech environment preferred
  • Experience in a training and development position being truly motivated having the role as facilitator/ coach
  • Knowledge of developing high quality learning programs and passionate about the development of others
  • Good working knowledge of Commercial Operations and data
  • Strong business acumen and a data-driven approach
  • A naturally inquisitive approach to addressing ambiguous problems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to work alongside senior members of the business
  • Organisational skills and project management approach when faced with various priorities
  • Experience in successfully implementing a LMS platform and driving usage in an organisation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SalesLoft, SharePoint, Plecto, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, a LMS tools is an advantage.
