To support our rapid growth including building a strong, agile and effective, compliant organization, we are looking for an ambitious colleague to join the Corporate Responsibility team which is based within the Group Compliance function.
The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, and you will report to VP, Group Compliance, Risk amp; Corporate Responsibility. In this position, we are looking for a person with an analytical mindset with a passion for reporting on corporate Environment, Society, Governance (ESG) performance through solid reporting and data management processes. As ESG Reporting Specialist, your overall responsibility will be to help define, implement and co-ordinate an ESG reporting framework founded on robust data management across Ascendis Pharma, to ensure our readiness to meet current and upcoming EU, US, and relevant Global regulations, and address stakeholder expectations. Qualifications
We are looking for a person with a background in economics and or data management. Alternatively, you may have experience from providing assurance services as an external auditor, or you may have ESG management and reporting experience from another company.
You likely hold a relevant academic degree economics, data management, or finance and have minimum 2 years’ experience with ESG data management and reporting or assurance services from a consulting setting. Previous experience from the bio/pharma/medical device industry is a great advantage, but not a prerequisite.
You have strong work ethics and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning and ownership of your own tasks. You see yourself working as a team player for the benefit of the entire Ascendis organization and the patients.
The position requires an open mindset, well developed interpersonal skills and competences in project management and communication are a benefit as you will work closely together with many different layers in the organization.
The successful candidate has a keen eye for details and structure and enjoys defining, implementing, and monitoring data flows, and solid experience within ESG reporting is preferable. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are enthusiastic, outgoing and thrive in an informal environment where you can structure, follow up and complete your own tasks. You are passionate about getting the organization involved in data gathering and reporting activities and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, a good sense of humor and a passion for corporate ESG impact. You have a keen eye for details, structure and getting things organized.
You have experience in defining ESG accounting principles and practical experience setting up data protocols. It is an advantage if you have working experience from one or more of the following reporting standards; SASB, GRI, CDP, TCFD.
