As our new colleague, you will be responsible for providing compliance direction, guidance, advice and support to our colleagues interacting with healthcare professionals. You will join the Compliance Team, who in addition to Compliance is working with the Ascendis Pharma Enterprise Risk Management, Trademarks and Corporate Responsibility and you will report directly to VP, Compliance, Risk amp; Corporate Responsibility, based in Hellerup, Denmark. As we are a small team it is important that you thrive in a role where no tasks are too small or too big to handle.
To succeed in this position you must be able to draft, implement and drive healthcare compliance policies and processes and have experience within all aspects of healthcare compliance, including compliance investigations, risk management and third-party compliance.
You hold a relevant degree, e.g., Master of Law, either from a European country or potentially outside, and have at least 5 years’ experience in developing policies from a headquarter perspective. Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of healthcare laws are required. It is a bonus if you have affiliate experience (EU).
You are a highly pro-active, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented individual who enjoy challenges and working in a friendly collaborative and quickly developing environment. You are result-oriented, flexible, adaptable, a team-player and good at establishing and maintaining working relationships. You work in a structured way, have a high quality-oriented mindset with the right level of details, still keeping the overall picture in mind. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary as you will be a major contributor and trusted member of the department.

Travelling: 10-15 days per year.
