We're SYBO, a mobile games studio based in Copenhagen, and makers of the most downloaded mobile game of all time, Subway Surfers, with over 3 billion downloads and counting!
SYBO is growing. We’re releasing new games, building on the massive success of Subway Surfers as the most downloaded game of all time and continuing to excite and surprise the most important people in the world: Our players!
We’re looking for a talented controller with motivation for working with FPamp;A in a small but very fun team. The finance team is the backbone of it all, at least according to our Finance Director. You will be helping our departments with forecasts, analysis key metrics and data points in our everyday work for keeping our number 1 spot as top runner game.
Responsibilities
- In your first month - get to know the business and our daily, weekly and monthly routines
- In your first 3 months - prepare the monthly reporting and consolidation to our parent company (Miniclip UK), participate in budget/forecast follow up meetings with stakeholders and assist with approval of monthly payroll
- In your first 12 months - prepare the annual report, understand the game KPI’s, deliver solid forecasts, and prepare the budget for 2024.
Requirements
- Prepare the monthly reporting and consolidation
- Prepare budget and annual report
- Conducting financial analysis and taking an active lead in supporting the business with financial insights
- Experience in handling internal stakeholders regarding data reports and analysis
- Experience in VAT, taxes, payroll and cash flow
- 2-4 years experience within finance or accounting
- Fluent in English
Bonus points
- Background as an auditor preferable from Big4 or other larger audit firm
- Experience with IFRS will be an advantage
- Curious and have a proactive mindset, with a passion for making an impact on the business
- Have a digital mindset and a flair for finance applications to help the team on our digitalisation journey
