Job Description
SYBO is growing: We’re releasing new games, perfecting the way we make features and maintain Live games running successfully. Subway Surfers is the most downloaded game of all time (3 billion downloads and counting!)
We’re looking for a talented Producer to join our Subway Surfers team, who can help us run the project smoothly and manage agile teams on a day-to-day basis while ensuring quality and timeliness on objectives.
Responsibilities
- In your first month - You’ll get an understanding of how the Project and Teams are organized. You’d have experience how the Release and Sprint cadence works.
- In your first 3 months - You’ll be well integrated into the Subway Surfers Team. You’ll start coordinating all sprints, its artifacts and ceremonies and begin to grasp which processes can be optimized.
- In your first 12 months - You’ll become a vital part of the team! You’ll be in charge of the team’s day-to-day operations. Work closely with all department leads to ensure the execution and coordination of the Project’s Roadmap.
Requirements
- You’re a talented Producer with a proactive mindset, that’s comfortable running planning and delivery processes from start to finish for multiple projects
- You understand a technical and creative process and have experience in agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) and management tools like JIRA.
- You’re excited about facilitating the day-to-day production needs, coordination, and managing all activities to ensure the development teams are on schedule and at the right capacity.
- You can quickly identify dependencies or bottlenecks when working on resource allocation together with Executive producer and Department Leads.
- You have great communication skills and can facilitate communication between departments and with external agencies
Bonus points:
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the gaming or tech industry.
- Coming from a different video game industry department that wants to make the jump to the Producers team.
- Experience managing large teams.
